ockside Academy was incorporated in Kenya in 2014 with the objective of providing early childhood (ECD) and 8-4-4 system of primary school education.

Commencing with foundational classes such as Baby, Nursery, Pre-unit, and primary levels 1-3, our institution has steadily progressed, culminating in outstanding performances in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations in the years 2020, 2021, 2022 and the last KCPE cohort in 2023, where our learners performed exceptionally well. We have now fully transitioned to offering the Competency-Based Education (CBE) from Preschool (Playgroup, PP1 and PP2) and the Primary level from Grade one to Grade 9.

Evolving with the educational landscape, we have wholeheartedly embraced the Competency-Based Education (CBE). Witnessing the inaugural graduation of our Grade 9 pioneer class in 2025 marked a significant milestone as they seamlessly transitioned to Senior School.

Rockside Junior School has been fully registered and certified by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to facilitate learning within the Junior School level of the CBE curriculum. We are up to the task and adequately equipped with the necessary facilities to address the various pathways as dictated by the curriculum.
